Well, in a few hours Christmas 2007 will be in the history books. Another year gone, Another year older. Yet, I have to stop and think back on this year. Did I waste yet another year? No, I think this year came out pretty good. It brought some happy moments to this olé heart. Made it beat a lot happier. As I am sure, if you remember, I have talked about my adopted daughters. One married in May, to a really great guy. If you knew them, you could see that they loved each other very much. My daughter is going to school, to be a teacher. And her new husband just landed a job starting out at 50 grand a year. Wish that all my girls could be that happy. I wish them the best that life has to offer. And a new daughter was added to the family, and a daughter who was not around as much as I would have liked, is back. Just little things that make your heart sing.

I guess it's at this time of year, that it's good to reflect on life over the past year, and ask yourself, "Did I put this year to good use? Did I accomplish what I wanted to accomplish? And you stop and think back on everything that has happened. You think back on the happiest times, the good time that was part of this year. And surprisingly, you forgot about the 'bad' time the year has brought. Like my wife losing her job. That was a bad time, but something good has come form that. We now realize we have time to do some traveling, some time to enjoy the things of our later lives.

Maybe, instead of asking if this year was good, or waisted, maybe I should be asking if this life was good, or waisted. In that case, I wold defiantly say, so far, it is very good. Happy New Year to all.
